Between 8-10 October 2025,
Dr. Kamil Smolak from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences took part in NetMob 2025 - the worlds leading conference on the analysis of mobile phone and mobility datasets, held at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in Paris, France.
Dr. Smolak presented the results of his research in an oral talk entitled
“Tackling the Ambiguity of Stop Detection in Human Mobility Data: A Model-Agnostic Evaluation Framework” co-authored with Dr. Katarzyna Siła-Nowicka from the University of Auckland.
